I have represented people from the Tenancy Tribunal right up to the Court of Appeal and a Royal Commission of Inquiry. I am an experienced advocate and I pride myself on giving honest, accurate advice in simple language.
I am passionate about protecting the rights of people who have been, or are, detained in State institutions. I have spent years seeking redress for abuse perpetrated on children and vulnerable adults and frequently act for prisoners who have had their rights breached in prison. I have achieved results for people harmed in prison by unlawful acts, such as using tie-down beds, unlawful restraints or traumatic searches. Recently, I have appeared in the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care, helping survivors of abuse in State and Faith-Based care tell their stories.

- Parole: appearances before the NZ Parole Board, including Extended Supervision Orders, reviewing parole conditions and recall applications;

- Discrimination complaints, if you feel you have been unfairly treated on the basis of your sex, gender, disability, race, religion or ethnicity or another ground of discrimination;
